Sevilla, January 31, 2017. The Fundación Focus, in partnership with Engranajes Culturales, has tailored a series of very special visits for the Velázquez.Murillo.Sevilla exhibition, one that is organized to mark its 25th anniversary in the Hospital de los Venerables.

These visits are designed to be enjoyed with the family as the oldest and the youngest of the house can take part. They are aimed at showing everyone, not just the first large exhibition to mark the Year of Murillo but also the Barroque age and its art in general. All this will be conducted by a remarkable narrator; Diego Velázquez -the great genius of universal painting.

The visit will be divided into three parts and will start with a guided visit of the exhibition at the hand of the great Sevillian Maestro. This will be followed by a tour of the painter’s workshop where the little ones can get to know the details of painting, prepare egg pigments and paint their own picture, while the boys are dressed up as Velázquez and the girls as the ‘meninas.’

Last of all and still decked out in their costumes, the whole family will be able to pose in the “The Sevillian Baroque” photo-call, turning into the characters of some of the Sevillian painter’s most famous works.
