Sixty-nine artworks by Eduardo Chillida, Luis Fernández, Juan Gris, Pablo Picasso and Antoni Tàpies were displayed in the Hospital de los Venerables in Seville from April, 28th to May, 25th in 1997. The exhibition, which was curated by L. Ishi-Kawa and sponsored by Abengoa, featured large-format works along with sculptures, paintings and drawings by these five Spanish world-famous contemporary artists. Our Foundation and Arte y Tecnología de Telefónica Foundation, organized the exhibition that gave Sevillian audience the chance to see the pieces that made up the Telefonica art collection before it was housed for display in Centro de Arte Reina Sofía during the next four years.
