Aires Barrocos

Aires Barrocos

Pieces of music from Spanish and German baroque make up this CD, an exclusive recording in the Church of the Hospital de los Venerables that demonstrates the commitment of our Foundation in disseminating organ music in Seville. The album features musical works by German musicians D. Buxtehude, J.S. Bach and G.F. Haendel, as well as F. Correa de Arauxo from Spain. Furthermore, it includes the piece “Retablos de los Venerables” by Manuel Castillo, who composed it on the occasion of the inauguration of the organ in 1991. The tracks are masterfully performed by José Enrique Ayarra Jarne.
