When the King Ferdinand III was canonized in 1671, Seville held numerous events in honour of the monarch. A book by Fernando de la Torre Farfán reviewed the ornaments and stands set in the cathedral to celebrate the sanctification of the king, as well as the religious ceremonies, processions, sermons, panegyrics or fireworks performed. This volume, a facsimile reprint published by our Foundation, brings back this fine example of Spanish baroque book, whose original version stood out due to the paper quality, neat print and the artistic value of its engravings.
