The third volume of Iconografía de Sevilla covers the years of the birth of Contemporary Era in Europe, a time which also led to an increasing interest in Seville, particularly since 1830. Published by our Foundation, the book includes high quality images, as the result of the presence of important painters and cartoonists that travelled all around Europe (Roberts, Phillip, Lewis or Dauzats) and the emergence of a prolific painting school in the city. These images are a visual document of urban and social aspects of Seville during the first two thirds of 19th century and provide personal visions of the city and unique information about it.
