A group of experts in History, Art, Music, Architecture and Photography analyze the Hospital de los Venerables from a multidisciplinary approach. This baroque building, model of Sevillian architecture in the 17th century, was founded by Justino de Neve to assist poor and old clergymen. Leonardo de Figueroa took part in the project, which started in 1676, and artists such as Juan Valdés Leal, Lucas Valdés, Pedro Roldán or Bartolomé E. Murillo created sculptures and paintings to embellish the place. After the agreement with the Archbishopric of Seville to restore the building, in 1991 the former hospital became the headquarters of our Foundation, which recovered this architecture treasure for Seville and turned it into a cultural centre.
