El Alcázar de Sevilla bajo los Austrias

El Alcázar de Sevilla bajo los Austrias

Ana Marín Fidalgo

From its beginnings, in the early 900s, to present day, the Alcázar has been closely linked to the evolution of Seville and, as a result, its architecture also shows the historical path of the city. In this regard, an important milestone was set in 16th and 17th centuries during the reign of the House of Austria, when the building was deeply transformed as a part of the construction and deconstruction process that has been carried out throughout the years in the palace.
