Professor Mercedes Díaz Garrido investigates the origins and historical development of the urban forms in Triana quarter from an architectonical point of view. The author analyses the evolution of the area from its beginnings until the mid 1900’s, when Seville became a contemporary city. This research casts light on the past of Triana by studying the complexity of its urban structures and generation processes through drawing and plans mainly.
